as i found out, piecing this staff together is just one of the things that the coach is keeping busy with. >> the fun part for me over the last weeks is trying to find out what has gone on here, you know, within the program, really getting a chance to sit down with our players here, and what is their family situation like, where they come from, and ultimately, why did they choose iowa state, and what is their experience, and i think it is giving a great idea of how and where we need to go from here on out. andy: can you point to a program other than toledo? to say, we want to do what baylor does? do you have a roadmap like that? >> we will do what it takes to be successful. our foundation has always been

game, and number one is to identify who are those players in the program, and what to do to lend those players to be successful, so to me, i do not know if you can copy anybody. we have got our own pieces that are positive, and both give us chances to be successful. our job is to develop those pieces and then continue to add rate pieces around them so we can be as successful as we want to be. it has been tremendous. andy: are you a rock star? >> i have not been to the grocery store much. i have not left here much, white honestly, but i am really humbled and grateful. the kindness of the people. you can tell there is great passion here, tremendous people who just have a kind heart, really caring people. they have been great to me since
10:29 pm
again, i think my biggest thing is to make this people proud of our program both on and off the field. andy: the defense of coordinator, it sounds like he is close but not ready, and he was not ready to commit to anything. what he said right there, he wants to make people proud.
10:30 pm
